Our tour begins on Saturday evening, April 6th at 7 pm with a concert at St George United Church, 505 6th Street, Courteny, BC. We will be joined by several other choirs. Stay tuned for details.
On April 7th we will travel south to Qualicum where we will put on a concert of our spring music focussing on the "earth." The concert will be at the Anglican Parish of St Mark at 138 Hoylake, Qualicom, BC starting at 3:00. Tickets are available at the door and a donation of $20 is suggested.

The concert will include music by Mark Sirett, Larry Nickel, Kate Rusby, Frank Ticheli, Sherryl Sewepagaham, Morten Lauridsen and our own Brian Tate.

Music Director Brian Tate and the Choir are celebrating two anniversaries with music by the great Renaissance composer William Byrd (d. 400 years ago), and Sergei Rachmaninoff (b. 150 years ago). Also, music by Ukrainian composer Oleksander Koshyts; Canadian composers Sara Quartel; our very own Brian Tate; gospel icon Kirk Franklin; Coldplay; Vince Guaraldi; spirituals and carols. And of course, some audience sing-along selections. Come hear us in Victoria or Sidney!

VICC has the pleasure of joining a number of local schools and organizations in a fun-filled outdoor fundraiser for the Foundry. The Foundry offers young people 12-24 access to mental health and substance use support, primary care, peer support and social services. VICC's own Chris Leeson (tenor) has been instrumental in organizing the event which will highlight a mass choir of the Shoreline Middle School, the Esquimalt High School and the VICC performing "We're from Barcelona" and "Fix You." Come with your friends and family, its free, and, there will be an ice-cream truck!
VICC will be a special guest at the Island Soul Choir upcoming concert in Naniamo. The concert will begin at 3:00 pm at the The Port Theatre,125 Front St, Nanaimo, BC. Tickets can be purchased through the Port Theatre Box Office , adults $28 and youth $5.
The concert is a short "world" tour with selections from Brazil, Ghana, Haiti, Georgia, Estonia, Cuba, Italy, Scotland, Norway, Macedonia, Democratic Republic of Congo and a piece from Cree composer Andrew Belfour based on an Ojibway original. The selections range from harmonic Gregorian Chants to rhythmic selections with drum and percussion. Truly a concert for all.
